Dear Joyce:
Oh my gosh! From conception to planning to designing to
construction to follow through, you have been awesome. We
started our project with great trepitation. After all, I
don't think anyone looks forward to remodeling a 35-year-old
suite in the same location. We knew for years that it was
needed, no question about that. A practice simply cannot
sustain growth in today's competititve marketplace without
being state of the art. After a while we simply did not
want to languish in the position of having a70's office.
I had already grown away my bell-bottom pants and tie-dye
shirts so there was no going back.
Numerous colleagues, all of who praised your services,
had recommended me to Matlack-Van Every Design. I knew we
needed a decision maker. Someone who didn't waffle at the
tough calls. Joyce, you have been that and more. You were
the captain of the ship all the way through. When we strayed
off course, you got us back on board. We achieved the result
we dreamed about largely because of your tenacious demeanor.
And you did with a smile, positive attitude, and no small
dose of humor.
No amount of "in-construction" correction can
make up for an ill-conceived design. Your skills, along
with an excellent builder, Marshall-Leider Development,
created an office that is both functional and esthetic.
We never get tired of the oohs! and aahs! of people visiting
our office.
My wife, Susan, is an interior designer and very hard to
impress. When I told her we planned for office construction
to be completed in a mere six weeks, she had a bemused expression
on her face, to say the least. Then she met you, Joyce.
Needless to say it was done on time and we are back at doing
what we do best and enjoying it each and every day.
Thanks Joyce. You are unquestionably the very best in your
profession.
Sincerely,
James J. Hilgers, DDS, MS
